Marquette General Hospital's Occupational Medicine Program works for employers to promote and ensure good health for employees. A specific and individualized program is developed to fit each client's needs.

Occupational medicine includes all aspects of the relationship between workplace factors and health. This includes physical, chemical, biological, social and psychological aspects.
Services at Occupational Medicine

Occupational medicine specialists evaluate and treat workplace injuries and illnesses, and render opinions as to the work-relatedness of a medical condition. Services include work-related physical examinations, surveillance exams required by the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Department of Transportation exams, urine drug and breath alcohol testing services, and fitness-for-duty evaluations (work restrictions).
